About Medicinal Journey

Medicinal Journey is a directory of supervised ketamine and psilocybin care in Canada and the United States. It exists because the legal options in this field are scattered across medical clinics, state programs that sit outside medicine, telehealth companies and retreat operators abroad, and nobody was showing them side by side with the checking done.

Who runs it

The site is independently owned and edited from British Columbia. It is the commercial sibling of Higher Place, an editorial publication about psychedelic therapy and mental health. The two share an owner and a point of view; Higher Place carries no listings and no advertising, and its essays are not written to promote anyone here.

How it is funded

Providers can pay for a listing or for the inquiries we forward to them. Some telehealth and retreat operators pay referral fees. That is the whole business model, and it is disclosed on every page where it applies: a paid listing says so, a referral link says so. Payment never changes whether a listing is checked, what its description says, or where it sits in results. How we check listings sets out the line.

What this site is not

It is not medical advice, and no listing is a recommendation. We do not assess whether any treatment is right for you; that is a conversation for you and a clinician who knows your history. Much of this field is early, the evidence is mixed, and the legal position changes by jurisdiction and by month. We try to keep up. Check anything that matters before you rely on it.
